What Are Profiles?

Each profile on FuboTV has its own watchlist, DVR recordings, and channel preferences, keeping every viewer’s experience separate and personal. Whether you’re into sports, kids’ shows, or binge-worthy dramas, profiles mean the whole household can coexist happily under one account — no more overwritten watchlists or mixed-up recommendations.

Creating a New Profile

Sign in at fubo.tv/connect

Head to fubo.tv/connect and log in to your FuboTV account.

Click your profile icon

Select your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

Select 'Switch Profile'

From the dropdown menu, choose Switch Profile.

Click 'Add Profile'

Select Add Profile to start setting up a new viewer profile.

Enter a name and choose an avatar

Type in a name for the profile and pick an avatar that suits the viewer.

Click 'Save'

Hit Save to finish. The new profile is ready to use right away.

Switching Between Profiles

Click your profile icon

Select the profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

Select 'Switch Profile'

Choose Switch Profile from the menu.

Select the profile you want

Click the profile you’d like to switch to and start watching.

Simultaneous Streams

With FuboTV, multiple family members can stream at the same time — each on their own device, watching whatever they like.

How Many Screens

The number of simultaneous streams depends on your plan — typically between 2 and 10 screens at once. Check your plan details in Account Settings.

Watch Different Content

Each active stream is completely independent, so one person can watch live sport while another catches up on a favourite show — no conflicts.

Stream on any compatible device — smart TV, smartphone, tablet, or computer — so the whole family stays covered no matter where they are at home.

Parental Controls

Keep younger viewers safe by setting a PIN on specific profiles to restrict access to content above a chosen rating. To enable parental controls, navigate to Account Settings → Parental Controls → Set PIN, then select the maximum content rating you want to allow. Once the PIN is active, any content above that rating will require the PIN to play — giving you peace of mind without interrupting everyone else’s viewing.

Managing Family Access

FuboTV is designed for use within a single household. While your plan supports multiple simultaneous streams, those streams are intended for different TVs and devices in the same home — not separate residences.
To delete a profile, go to Account Settings → Profiles, select the profile you want to remove, and choose Delete. Note that deleting a profile also removes its watchlist and DVR recordings, so make sure you no longer need that content before confirming.
Yes — FuboTV’s parental controls let you set a content rating PIN on any profile. Once enabled, content above your chosen rating is locked behind the PIN, so younger viewers only see age-appropriate programming.
